Dicle obtained her bachelor and master degrees in chemical engineering from Bogazici University, Istanbul. Her master thesis was on network-based integration of transcriptome and protein-protein interaction data to reveal the glucose regulation pathway in yeast. She recently finished PhD in Biosystems Data Analysis Group. Her PhD thesis is entitled 'Validation of Systems Biology Models' and is focused on employing resampling approaches to construct guidelines for the validation, selection and improvement of diverse types of models such as transcriptional regulatory networks and kinetic models defined by ordinary differential equations. Currently, she works as a post-doctoral researcher both in the Department of Clinical Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Bioinformatics (KEBB) in Academic Medical Center, Amsterdam and in Biosystems Data Analysis group. Her project is on the integration of clinical and gene expression data, in collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline in Rixensart, Belgium.
