Iven van Mechelen

Iven Van Mechelen received a MSc in mathematics from the University of Antwerp, and a master and PhD in psychology from the University of Leuven. Since 2001 he is full professor of Quantitative Psychology at the latter university. In the first semester of 2011-2012 he is spending a sabbatical leave in the BDA research group.

His formal research interests include clustering and dimension reduction models, multiway models, and data integration.

He is President-elect of the International Federation of Classification Societies (IFCS).
