Introduction

In 2008 Tim Dorscheidt received his Master of Science degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Groningen, Groningen, The Netherlands, where he also received his Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence. After trying out a PhD position in Computational Biology, Tim came to realize he preferred a more pragmatic approach when combining information technology with science.

Current Position at the University of Amsterdam

Tim's current position as a scientific programmer entails working in the metabolomics task force of NBIC's BioAssist program. The task force is set out to facilitate metabolomics research and collaboration by centralizing and standardization of research data.
